Thanks to the generous approval of the RCGC Board, the Annual Taverners' Golf Day was held at Royal Canberra Golf Club on Monday 14th April 2008.  Our major sponsors were Goldman Sachs JB Were; Able Landscaping; Australian Re-Insurance; Drummond Golf; WT Partnership; Macquarie Services; Nikki Campbell; Patrick Maher; Servecorp and Rolfe Classic BMW.  Other sponsors included Lennock Motors; Mark De Jager, Angus McIntosh, Rick Forster. Joe Guini won the President's trophy with a very creditable 41 points;  Bronwyn Calver posted the best ladies score with 36 points.  The opportunity was taken by the Taverners' President - Rick Forster -  to present the representatives from VIS ACT Blind cricket with a cheque for $5000.
